CSR FAIR - UNION MINISTER OF HEAVY INDUSTRIES AND PUBLIC ENTERPRISES

 Union Minister of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises Shri Anant G. Gite tomorrow i.e. 4 May in New Delhi's Pragati Maidan hall number will inaugurate the CSR Fair 11. This three-day fair (from 4th May to 6th May2017) is being organized with the support of ONGC by Public Enterprises Department and PHD Chamber of the Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises. This Fair will provide all stakeholders including Union Ministries / DepartmentsCPSE / PSU of the StatesPrivate CompaniesNGOs / Foundation etc. where they can show their CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activities and their best practices Will be able to share. Along with this, this platform will also provide them the opportunity to connect with other stakeholders.
This fair is unique because it will include the following activities:
§ Dedicated sessions based on CSR will be organized for three days
§ A unique opportunity to meet people associated with CSR
§ CSR experts will present solutions in person
§ People who are considered leading in this field will present innovative case studies on successful CSR initiatives
§ Other events: Exhibition will be organized from all the stakeholders including central ministries/departmentsCPSE / PSU of the Statesprivate companiesNGOs / foundations etc.
§ CSR collection will be launchedwhich will be in the form of a detailed review of the successful stories of the CSR initiatives of CSPE / PSU of the Statesprivate companiesNGO / Foundation etc.
The main objective of the CSR Fair leaders of the corporate sector, organizations, implementing agencies and business experts to provide a major platformwhere they will be exposed to practical solutions to problems related to engagement implementation of CSR projects at the grassroots level. Apart from this, at this fair, the CSR will get a chance to brainstorm on integrating into the core business values of corporate houses. At the same time, there will be an opportunity to mutually enrich the strategic relations with different stakeholders and main partners in this fair.

A s per Section 469 of the Companies Act, 2013 (‘Act’) Central Government has the power to make rules for carrying out the provisions of this act. Patents (Amendment) Rules, 2020- streamlining of the requirements related to filing of Form 27

C onsequent to Delhi High Court's Order dated 23-04-2018 in writ petition No. WPC- 5590 of 2015 in the matter of Shamnad Basheer Vs UOI and others, stakeholder consultation was undertaken in order to streamline the requirements related to submission of statement regarding the working of a patented invention on a commercial scale in India (Form 27).
